    » Hello AATT fans.
Greetings & congratulations to the owner of this site, who's doing a great job. Even if it looks a bit forsaken lately...but i remember (& i don't forget) the site existed long before aatt myspace & facebook & "untungled" was the only place to get news, images, sounds & comments about the Trees : and that was cool!
Anyway ,this post also to say that we count on you German & Austrian friends to give us -the ones who won't get the chance to see the Trees live in the next days- your impressions & comments on the gigs and tell us about the new songs they're surely gonna play...
And by the way if you get the chance to talk with the Jones Bros. ask 'em about the release date of the new album ! And what about the project of the remastered version of the virus meadow album... & what happened to the acoustic live dvd project ?
Will the aatt live history book ever be published (...Hello Achim)?
And what about the special feature project for the thirtiest anniversary that steven Burrows announced once on his blog about 2 years ago...
Well my friends, if someone has informations you're welcome to share... Thanks!
Long live And also the trees !

» Thanks for your kind and encouraging words Ferdico!

Latest word about the new album is the band aim for early 2012 release.

The shows this weekend will be special for AATT might play a few new unfinished songs which is something they didn't for about 18 years afaik.

Untangled is still active and updated. Though meanwhile concentration on the AATT major news, homages and inspired artists (BTH) with Facebook and Co. and Kirstin and Simon updating them regular (glad they do!)

Any comments, impressions and feedback keep this site living and breathing. So keep posting your throughts. Also in sharing your feelings and impressions from the upcoming shows to all the many people not able to attend.

» don't have the setlist from yesterday's Hamburg gig (someone nicked it before I could ...). But it seems to have been pretty similar to the Münster one. Finally slow pulse boy which AATT didn't play during their acoustic shows.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere here nor on the official AATT site: there is a new acoustic mini album available at the concerts. It's called "driftwood" and has the following tracks:

    1. The Suffering of the Stream
    2. MacBeth's Head
    3. Belief in the Rose
    4. Wallpaper Dying (Yeah!)
    5. The Cyclone
    6. The Way the Land Lies
    7. The Secret Sea
    8. The Untangled Man

It was a great night with Noonday Dreams and Dark Orange doing the support. Now it's about time to hit the road to go to Berlin :-)

» The setlist in Berlin was pretty similar to the one last night in Hamburg. Although there was one different song among the encores (sorry but I'm very bad remembering song titles ...) - they played one acoustic song which was nice. Last song of course was "slow pulse boy" (yeah, even I can remember that one).
Unfortunately there were a few annoying people in the crowd who apparently thought that it would be OK to talk ALL the time ... How I hate that.

Anyway - two AATT gigs in two days - what more can the heart wish for? :-)

» I've just discovered "Only" : it sounds so great! But I'm not surprised, so strong are my faith and confidence in The Trees, always growing more beautiful, always reaching higher for the sky... No doubt the new album will be another moment of pure grace. Thanks.
